Install on Oracle Cloud

Step 1 of 11

What you need

This route creates an Arm server inside Oracle Cloud’s Always Free allowance and installs GRIDer automatically. Allow about 15 minutes, plus any time Oracle needs to approve the account.

  • A GRIDer license: the install URL and the install token that came with it.
  • Real contact and billing details, a phone, and a compatible credit or debit card for Oracle’s identity check.
  • The account switched to Pay As You Go. It is free within the Always Free limits, and in practice it is required: without it Oracle almost never has free Arm capacity.
  • The exact free configuration used here: 2 OCPUs, 12 GB of RAM and the default boot volume (about 46.6 GB).
  • Keep a backup of anything important: Oracle may reclaim Always Free instances that it classifies as idle.
Oracle Always Free limits

Older tutorials show 4 OCPUs and 24 GB. Oracle’s current documentation limits Always Free-only accounts to 2 OCPUs and 12 GB. Use the values in this guide.

GRIDer

Self-hosted grid trading software. Your environment, your control.

GRIDer is software you install and operate yourself, on your own account and with your own funds. It is not an investment service, it does not manage anyone else’s money, and nothing on this site is investment advice or a recommendation to trade. Trading crypto derivatives involves leverage and a high risk of loss.
