Grid range study

For each market we simulate a grid over the last 7 days of price history and publish what that simulation produced. These are historical simulations, not forecasts and not recommendations.

Read this before using the table

Every number in this table is the output of a simulation run on past price data. Simulated and past results do not indicate future results. This page is general information published identically for everyone — it is not investment advice, not a recommendation to trade any market, and not tailored to your situation. Grid trading on perpetual futures involves leverage and you can lose more than you put in. You alone decide what to trade and you alone bear the outcome.

Filter and sort

The table is published in alphabetical order. Any other ordering is one you choose.

Venue

Spot markets are long-only, so filtering by short leaves them out.

How far apart the simulated range sits, top to bottom. Narrower ranges fill more often and break out sooner.

What the copy button does

It copies the range, spacing and direction as a JSON template. In your own GRIDer instance you paste it with "Load template": it fills the form in so you can review and change it. It never starts a grid, and it does not include an amount, leverage or exit levels — those are yours to decide.

Methodology

So the numbers can be read and challenged, these are the assumptions behind every row:

  • Window: the last 7 days of price history, on 5m candles.
  • Reference size: a fixed $1,000 per grid, identical for every market, so rows are comparable. It is not a suggested amount.
  • Trading fees are deducted; funding paid or received over the window is included in the net result.
  • Inclusion criterion: only markets above $1.0M of 24h volume are published — below that, a grid would not fill often enough for the simulation to say anything useful.
  • The simulated result is the net outcome of the window extrapolated to a year. A 7-day window annualised swings wildly: read it as "what this range did last week", never as a yearly expectation.
  • The simulation assumes every order fills at its level. Real fills, slippage, outages and liquidity gaps are not modelled, so live results will differ.
  • The dataset is regenerated periodically and published as a static file. It is the same for every visitor and is never adapted to anyone.

Legal notice

GRIDer publishes and licenses trading automation software. It does not receive, transmit or execute orders, does not hold client funds, does not manage portfolios and does not provide investment advice or personalised recommendations. This page is general market information, published identically for the public at large. Nothing here is an offer, a solicitation or a suggestion to enter any particular position. Derivatives on crypto-assets are high-risk instruments; assess whether you understand them and whether you can afford the risk, and check the rules that apply where you live.
