Install on your Mac

What you need

GRIDer runs on your own Mac, in your browser, at an address only that Mac can reach. One command installs everything — including the parts you do not have yet.

  • A Mac that can stay switched on with its session open. This is the real requirement — the next step explains why.
  • macOS 13 (Ventura) or newer. Both Apple Silicon and Intel work.
  • About 4 GB of free memory and 20 GB of free disk.
  • Your GRIDer license: the install URL and the install token that came with it.

If your Mac cannot stay on all the time, a small cloud server is the better home for your instance — from about €5 a month.

You do not need to install Docker, a database or anything else beforehand, and nothing you already have on your Mac gets modified — GRIDer brings its own pieces and keeps them to itself.
